The attacks by Muslim supremacists in California have created another media frenzy for gun control.
I really want to understand something here: What makes anyone think gun control will be more successful than drug control, or alcohol control, back in the day?
It didn’t work for guns and bombs in Paris. It doesn’t work for meth and cocaine in the US. Why is THIS time different? While will THIS prohibition be successful when the others have failed?And if the “good guy with a gun” is a “myth” and a “fantasy,” why are we still arming cops? I say that as someone who would never go on duty unarmed, but if you think it’s bad for me (former cop) to own guns, why was it somehow better back when I had a badge?Somebody explain, I’m not smart enough to understand.
